FalconX is a leading institutional digital-asset platform delivering trading, credit, custody and infrastructure services to the crypto markets. The team comes from top fintech, trading and tech firms and aims to build bridges between traditional finance and crypto.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain you’ll design and build backend systems that power wallet infrastructureand staking / custody services across major chains and protocols. You’ll work at the intersection of blockchain infrastructure and institutional-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural design and implementation of scalable wallet & staking infrastructure across multiple blockchains.
Build high-availability backend services supporting major blockchains (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum and others).
Create generalizable systems and interfaces to scale supported protocols.
Closely collaborate with Engineering & Product leadership to prioritize and deliver new product features.
Ensure system design emphasizes security, reliability and operational efficiency.
Rapidly iterate and integrate emerging blockchain features while maintaining production-quality performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience designing, building and scaling backend distributed systems.
Strong programming skills in one or more of: Java, Python, TypeScript, Go.
Experience deploying services at scale with modern tooling (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, cloud ).
Familiarity with cryptographic signing algorithms, asymmetric cryptography and key management is a plus.
Self-starter, fast learner, comfortable in complex systems and new domains.
