Role Overview
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Uniswap’s next generation of decentralized financial products. You’ll own core web applications, influence architectural direction, and ensure that every Uniswap interface delivers a seamless, performant, and accessible user experience.
You’ll work across trading dashboards, analytics tools, documentation portals, and more — collaborating closely with design and backend teams to bring polished, high-quality experiences to life.
Key Responsibilities
Produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code with well-documented architectural decisions.
Lead large, complex frontend projects with minimal oversight, managing multiple engineers when needed.
Translate design mockups into functional, elegant, and performant UI components.
Apply strong attention to performance, responsiveness, and accessibility in production-ready applications.
Build and evolve shared component libraries and design systems that ensure consistency across the Uniswap product suite.
Balance abstraction and pragmatism — knowing when to build reusable systems vs. one-off features.
Stay ahead of trends in React, web standards, and UX best practices to continuously elevate product quality.
Requirements
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Deep expertise in React/React Native and the architecture of modern client-side applications.
Proven experience creating or managing a design system or component library.
Familiarity with crypto and Web3 concepts.
Strong eye for design, usability, and performance optimization.
Curiosity and commitment to staying current with modern frontend practices.
Nice to Have
Experience developing with Swift or Kotlin.
Previous work on growth or onboarding teams.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $209,093 – $232,325 USD
