Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain high-performance front-end applications using Next.js and TypeScript.

• Implement pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible UI components that deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to refine advanced trading workflows.

• Optimize application performance across devices and browsers — focusing on rendering speed, bundle size, and load time.

• Integrate with REST and WebSocket APIs, occasionally contributing to back-end development.

• Uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and help define engineering standards, culture, and tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience.

• Expert-level proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Deep understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and state management.

• Proven experience integrating with REST and WebSocket APIs.

• Familiarity with back-end concepts such as Node.js, Postgres, and cloud infrastructure.

• Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end in production systems.

• Must be based in New York City and available for full-time, in-person collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience building fintech, trading, or real-time applications.

• Open-source contributions or notable side projects demonstrating strong craftsmanship.
