About the Role

We’re seeking a Mobile Software Engineer who’s passionate about pushing the boundaries of what crypto wallets can do — particularly those without centralized backends. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with novel AI coding systems and the Dash mobile team to build innovative, high-performing mobile experiences.

You’ll work primarily with Swift, Rust, Kotlin, Rust FFI, and Objective-C, contributing to next-generation mobile wallet features that integrate security, AI-assisted code generation, and intuitive UX. Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an Agile environment to research, design, implement, and ship new mobile wallet features.

• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, performant front-end implementations.

• Contribute to improvements across Dash’s mobile SDKs, including enhancements to the foundational Rust SDK.

• Work alongside AI agentic tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude Code) to accelerate development and validate AI-generated outputs.

• Maintain and refine continuous integration processes to improve reliability and delivery speed.

• Partner with teammates to ensure design principles, architecture, and testing standards are upheld across mobile environments.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on programming experience in Rust or Swift.

• At least 3 years of university-level studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Previous experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code or Codex) and strong prompt engineering skills.

• Proficiency with Linux and macOS environments.

• Solid understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Strong command of Git and modern development workflows.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for integrating iOS apps with backend services.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup with minimal supervision.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with both Rust and Swift, especially in cross-platform contexts.

• Low-level Rust FFI development experience.

• Mathematical or cryptographic background — including number theory, probability, or abstract algebra.

• Understanding of how cryptography underpins blockchain systems.

• Knowledge of SPV (Simplified Payment Verification) and blockchain fundamentals.

• Familiarity with C++, Kotlin, or Java.

• Passion for blockchain technologies and open-source development.
