The Role: Senior Product Manager – Protocol

We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager – Protocol who’s passionate about interoperability as the next frontier in crypto. You’ll own the core protocol and off-chain infrastructure of Across, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with the broader Ethereum ecosystem.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape protocol direction, architecture, and integration across L1s, L2s, and beyond.

Your Responsibilities

• Protocol Strategy: Lead the roadmap for the protocol team, balancing product innovation with ecosystem needs and long-term sustainability.

• Architecture & Mechanism Design: Evaluate core components like intent systems, solver networks, and auction design.

• Execution & Delivery: Drive product development from ideation to launch — writing PRDs, managing the backlog, and prioritizing effectively.

• Ecosystem Collaboration: Work with partners such as the Open Intents Framework and ERC-7683 contributors to align protocol evolution.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, business, and marketing to keep protocol goals aligned with company vision.

• Data-Driven Product Decisions: Analyze solver behavior, protocol metrics, and market trends to guide development.

• AI-First Mindset: Use AI tools to accelerate development and improve decision-making.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on technical or platform products.

• Strong technical understanding of smart contract architecture, protocol design, and decentralized systems.

• Proven success shipping products or protocols in Web3/DeFi.

• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for execution.

• Deep curiosity about interoperability and how it will shape the next era of blockchain.
