About the Role

We’re hiring a DeFi Analyst and Customer Success/Account Manager (DeFi Associate) — a high-impact role that blends advanced protocol fluency, long-term investment thinking, and deep relationship management.

As an Associate, you’ll work directly with clients to:

• Navigate the on-chain ecosystem

• Build conviction around asymmetric opportunities

• Design long-term, risk-adjusted crypto portfolios using YieldSchool’s proven frameworks

This is not a passive account management position. It’s an elite, hands-on role where your ability to think independently, communicate clearly, and lead strategically will determine your success and the success of your clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one strategy sessions with clients to evaluate their current DeFi exposure and design tailored investment frameworks.

• Translate complex on-chain concepts—liquidity provisioning, tokenomics, governance, bridging, and yield strategies—into actionable portfolio insights.

• Drive client outcomes through clarity, accountability, and ongoing education.

• Identify and lead upgrade opportunities; manage renewals and referrals to support business growth.

• Contribute to internal and group research calls, sharing market insights and improving YieldSchool’s investment frameworks.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance member experience, refine systems, and improve portfolio management standards.

Who You Are

You’re a crypto native with a deep understanding of how blockchain protocols function under the hood. You’ve studied whitepapers, traced token flows, and developed strong analytical instincts that separate signal from noise.

You’re not only technically sharp — you’re emotionally intelligent. You can communicate complex ideas with empathy and precision, building trust with clients who depend on your judgment and expertise.

You take ownership, thrive in autonomy, and deliver excellence without being micromanaged. You enjoy collaborating with other high-performing professionals who are mission-driven, disciplined, and aligned around building something meaningful in the DeFi space.

Qualifications

• Deep, working knowledge of DeFi protocols, ecosystems, and on-chain infrastructure

• Strong understanding of investing principles, asymmetric risk, and portfolio construction in decentralized markets

• Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain trust with high-net-worth clients or sophisticated investors

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to simplify complex topics without losing nuance

• Experience in client-facing, educational, or investment advisory roles with measurable outcomes

• High degree of initiative and accountability; proactive problem-solver with strategic thinking capability

• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in high-ticket B2C or B2B sales with strong closing ratios

• Background in DeFi research, macroeconomic analysis, or on-chain portfolio management
