Product Manager II - Base App at Base

Role Summary

Base is building the next generation onchain platform and needs a seasoned Product Manager to lead its App’s creator tools. This role focuses on empowering creators and helping users discover, earn, and engage meaningfully with onchain content, tools, and social features.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of creator tools within the Base App.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing) to ship impactful features.

• Own quarterly outcomes, product backlog, and weekly execution cadence.

• Define KPIs, lead experiments, and drive engagement/retention.

• Report on progress and refine product strategy with leadership.

• Engage directly with creators and ecosystem builders to identify high-impact opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience shipping consumer-facing products.

• Strong background in onchain products (wallets, creator tools, social/trading dApps) or deep expertise in social apps (feeds, growth loops, creator systems).

• Ownership mindset with a strong bias for action and accountability.

• Comfort with onchain fundamentals (wallets, gas, identity models) or fast learner.

• Ability to drive alignment and maintain high execution speed.

• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Curiosity about creator culture, online monetization, and social platform mechanics.

• Previous contributions to onchain communities, apps, or tools.

• Experience building or scaling social graphs, feeds, or creator monetization features.

• Understanding of both traditional social growth mechanics and crypto-native product design.
