Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll design the next generation of consumer financial products at the forefront of crypto and web3. You’ll tackle challenges that redefine how people understand and interact with decentralized systems, building intuitive, elegant, and high-performing experiences for millions of users.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in ambiguous problem spaces, loves end-to-end ownership, and has a deep passion for human-centered design in emerging technology. You’ll join a collaborative, close-knit team that has defined the UX standards for DeFi and is now focused on shaping its next evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full product design process—from concept and wireframes to prototypes, testing, and final visual execution.

• Design human-centered DeFi experiences that simplify complexity while preserving user control and transparency.

• Develop new mental models and interaction patterns for decentralized systems and financial interfaces.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and research teams to define strategy and deliver seamless experiences.

• Create and maintain a unified design system that enhances front-end velocity and visual consistency.

• Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses.

• Mentor junior designers through critique, documentation, and best practice sharing.

• Contribute to Uniswap’s design culture through thought leadership, writing, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing applications across web and mobile.

• Proven background in end-to-end product design, including user research, prototyping, and implementation.

• Experience working with component libraries or design systems in fast-paced product environments.

• Strong proficiency in Figma, Framer, or equivalent design tools.

• Excellent visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking skills backed by a strong portfolio.

• Strong communication skills—able to clearly articulate design rationale and influence across teams.

• Passion for designing within the context of web3, blockchain, or financial technology.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, including wallets, tokens, and onchain transactions.

• Experience creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

• Regular use of AI tools in design or prototyping workflows.

• An appreciation for Uniswap’s playful brand personality (and love for unicorns 🦄).

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $238,000 – $265,000 USD
