The Role: Finance & Strategy Manager (Bitcoin & Stablecoin)

We’re seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to help scale Block’s Bitcoin and stablecoin initiatives.
In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll be at the forefront of digital asset innovation — partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to develop financial models, analyze market opportunities, and shape strategic decisions that drive our ecosystem forward.

You’ll build financial frameworks, evaluate product economics, size opportunities, and work directly with leadership to influence Block’s Bitcoin and stablecoin roadmap. The ideal candidate brings strong foundations in traditional finance (investment banking, private equity, or strategy), fluency in digital assets, and comfort navigating fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

You will report to the Bitcoin Finance & Strategy Lead supporting Block’s Bitcoin and Stablecoin products.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the primary strategic finance partner to the Heads of Bitcoin Product and Bitcoin Engineering, providing deep financial insights and decision support.

• Build and maintain forecast and scenario models, including full ownership of covered products and monthly stakeholder reviews.

• Lead financial analysis for product launches and changes, evaluating short- and long-term cost/benefit tradeoffs and their overall business impact.

• Support the preparation of materials for product partners, Bitcoin/stablecoin leadership, investor relations, and the Board to communicate performance insights.

• Partner with teams to define go-to-market strategies, including pricing analysis, incentive modeling, and adoption target setting.

• Execute ad-hoc analyses and special projects related to product performance, metrics, and P&L.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of relevant finance experience, including at least 2 years in investment banking or private equity and 2 years in strategic finance.

• Proven track record of problem-solving and driving results on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.

• Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and communicate effectively across audiences.

• Comfort working with metrics, building KPIs, and analyzing large data sets.

• Deep intellectual curiosity and passion for Bitcoin, stablecoins, and digital asset markets.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing analytical precision with rapid execution.
