Role Overview
As a Finance Associate – Regulatory Reporting at FalconX, you will support the CFO of FalconX’s regulated swap-dealer entity (FalconX Bravo) in regulatory accounting, financial reporting and compliance. This role combines accounting fundamentals, regulatory-reporting responsibilities, process improvement and audit interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily balance sheet, income statement and regulatory capital reports for FalconX Bravo.
Oversee preparation and submission of monthly regulatory filings to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and National Futures Association (NFA).
Identify opportunities to enhance finance reporting processes including automation of accounting close and implementation of internal controls.
Act as point-of-contact for external auditors and implement audit findings.
Stay informed about regulatory changes, US GAAP for financial services, and emerging risks in digital-asset accounting.
Support additional tasks in accounts payable, bank/ledger reconciliations and vendor/expense processing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degrees or CPA/CFA preferred.
3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, ideally within a broker-dealer, swap dealer, or financial services start-up.
Expertise in regulatory reporting, financial institution accounting, and US GAAP.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and work independently.
Familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets is preferred.
Experience or interest in the cryptocurrency industry a plus.
