Corporate Development Analyst at Blockstream

About the Role

Position: Full-time, 100% Remote (no geographic restrictions)

Blockstream is the global leader in Bitcoin and blockchain technology. We’re looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our team and help shape the future of decentralized finance. You’ll support strategic initiatives across partnerships, M&A, and market intelligence — driving insights that inform company growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do

Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.

• Identify acquisition targets and partnership opportunities.

• Develop market maps and segmentation analyses to guide strategic decisions.

Financial Analysis & Modeling

• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution).

• Analyze transaction scenarios, synergy potential, and integration outcomes.

• Support board and executive presentations with data-driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal teams to manage research projects and follow-ups.

• Summarize findings into clear reports and actionable recommendations.

• Ensure research and financial deliverables are accurate and on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or MBA in Finance, Economics, or Business.

• 3–5 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or financial analysis.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting insights to leadership.

• Familiar with market research methods and tools.

• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, CRM, or project management software.

Bonus Points

• Experience in crypto or fintech.

• Knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain fundamentals.

• Post-transaction or integration experience.

• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
